My faith is the foundation of my life and practice. I stand firmly on the Word of God, placing my trust in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
I am an outgoing, energetic, and highly motivated psychotherapist with a passion for working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Becoming a therapist has been my calling since I was school-aged. Growing up in Connecticut, I witnessed the profound impact that financial hardship, substance use, untreated mental health conditions, and hopelessness can have on individuals and families. I also grew up alongside children struggling with self-harm, depression, anxiety, academic difficulties, and behaviors that were often misunderstood as defiance.
Through both my personal experiences and professional training, I have come to understand that children often carry the emotional symptoms of dysfunction within the family system. They cope with overwhelming circumstances in the best ways they know how, even when those coping strategies become unhealthy or disruptive. Rather than asking, "What is wrong with this child?" I believe we should ask, "What has this child experienced?"
I firmly believe that healing is possible for every child, individual, and family. Whenever possible, meaningful change begins by engaging the family system, because lasting healing often occurs when relationships are strengthened together. When involving the entire family is not feasible, beginning treatment with even one family member can create positive change that gradually influences the entire family system.
My mission is to help individuals and families heal from trauma, overcome life's challenges, build healthier relationships, and discover lasting hope. As a Christian therapist, I also strive to support those who desire to strengthen their faith, recognizing God as our ultimate Father and the source of true healing, restoration, and hope.
